It doesn't make my "Most Embarrassing" list, but ...

Monday October 6th, while Ken was on his second week of business trips, I went out to my van to get my camera only to find I'd locked myself out of the house by going through the garage door which closes automatically. All of the windows to my house are locked, save one of the front windows. Not terrible-I can just move one of our front porch chairs over and climb in, right? Well, yes, but . . . there is a movie being filmed on our street. (No, I'm not making it up!) Indeed, the crew is sitting along our yard's front block and aiming the camera away from us to film the actress, Heather, as she jogs and then rests for a quick moment down the street past the Cannon's front yard. (Ah, goodie for me!) So I act like I meant to take these pictures :-) Honestly, what would you have done? I notice weeds that need to be pulled and a bike helmet that wasn't put away, etc. I casually open the window and move over the chair as if tidying up. I do a lot of things outside until the scene is shot and they move inside the Curtis' home to film the rest. I'd already reached through and set my camera inside and then glanced up and down the street to see only seven actors out in the Curtis' side yard smoking. Yes, two of them may be able to see me, but it is probably my best chance before everyone else comes back out - so I dart and launch myself through the mudroom window falling on my knees and causing some noise. I huddle down below the view of the window as still and silent as a cat watching a mouse for a few moments . . . and then I laugh and laugh at myself for the last hour before my children arrive home from school. I was in a great mood and nothing else could have made my mood change. I couldn't stop laughing. I hope your day has a smile to it now on my behalf ;-D Here's some proof. I didn't dare take more. Actress, Heather, is tiny in her blue jogging suit but now you know.

Is this the film, documentary that Andrea Curtis was working on? I understand that one of Andrea's films made the Film Festival. I stopped and talked with Andrea and Dale a couple of months ago while they were on their walk.... But you're right....Embarrassing Moments are for all of us! smile..
